Resumen
Los efectos de los problemas de salud mental en los trabajadores se evidencian en
la baja productividad de la empresa, intermitencia en las labores de trabajo,
incapacidades continuas y muchas otras situaciones negativas. También se ha
reportado diversos factores tales como tensión laboral, experiencias inseguras,
mala calidad del sueño, insatisfacción laboral, conflicto de relaciones sociales,
riesgo de accidentes y trastornos musculoesqueléticos (TME), abuso de sustancias,
condiciones de trabajo peligrosas y organización laboral exigente, podrían exponer
a serios problemas de salud mental a los trabajadores. La pandemia incremento
mucho más los problemas mentales en la población general, la ansiedad tuvo una
prevalencia de 36,4%; depresión, 26,6%; estrés, 44,2% y trastorno por estrés
postraumático (TEPT), 5,9%; las mujeres presentaron con mayor frecuencia,
síntomas de ansiedad y depresión, mientras que los hombres síntomas de estrés.
El objetivo del presente proyecto de investigación fue, Identificar los factores
laborales que influyen en los problemas de salud mental en los trabajadores de tres
empresas de la región Caribe Colombiana. Estudio de corte transversal, con
enfoque cuantitativo, aplicado a trabajadores de tres empresas de la región Caribe
Colombiana. Se tomó como muestra 80 personas del total de trabajadores que eran
220, y la encuesta fue realizada a los mayores de 18 años.
The effects of mental health problems on workers are evident in the low productivity of the company, intermittent work tasks, continuous disabilities and many other negative situations. Various factors have also been reported such as job tension, unsafe experiences, poor sleep quality, job dissatisfaction, social relationship conflict, risk of accidents and musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), substance abuse, dangerous working conditions, and demanding work organization. could expose workers to serious mental health problems. The pandemic increased mental problems in the general population much more, anxiety had a prevalence of 36.4%; depression, 26.6%; stress, 44.2% and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), 5.9%; women more frequently presented symptoms of anxiety and depression, while men presented stress symptoms. The objective of this research project was to identify the labor factors that influence mental health problems in the workers of three companies in the Colombian Caribbean region. Cross-sectional study, with a quantitative approach, applied to workers of three companies in the Colombian Caribbean region. 80 people were taken as a sample of the total number of workers, which were 220, and the survey was carried out on those over 18 years of age.
