Resumen
Las situaciones de fenómenos naturales como la amenaza de desbordamiento del Rio Magdalena,
impactan el estado emocional de los adultos mayores. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo
fundamental describir el Impacto Emocional en adultos mayores por la amenaza del desbordamiento
del río en Salamina Magdalena, desde el paradigma Empírico Analítico, utilizando el tipo de
investigación descriptiva. Esto se ha llevado a cabo mediante la aplicación del cuestionario “APEEM”
(Autopercepción del Estado Emocional) en una muestra de 16 adultos mayores de 65 a 75 años de
edad pertenecientes a la población de Salamina, Magdalena. Los resultados reflejan que las emociones
experimentadas por las personas entrevistadas, solían somatizarse en insomnio, estrés, fatiga y
cefaleas, ansiedad, siendo estas una dificultad presentada al momento de realizar sus actividades
diarias.
The situations of natural phenomena such as the threat of overflowing the Magdalena River, impact the emotional state of the elderly. The main objective of the present study is to describe the Emotional Impact in older adults due to the threat of the river overflow in Salamina Magdalena, from the Empirical Analytical paradigm, using the type of descriptive research. This has been carried out through the application of the “APEEM” questionnaire (Self-perception of the Emotional State) in a sample of 16 adults over 65 to 75 years of age belonging to the population of Salamina, Magdalena.
