Resumen
El machismo se considera como una ideología, donde defiende la superioridad del hombre, justificando su dominio sobre la mujer, engrandeciendo ciertas cualidades masculinas como la agresividad o la independencia y denigra ciertas características de la mujer como sumisión y dependencia. Esta ideología está más presente en la cultura latinoamericana (Moral & Ramos, 2016)
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la relación existente entre funcionamiento familiar estilo parentales y las actividades machistas en jóvenes, como objetivos específicos se tiene evaluar actividades machistas en la actualidad; describir los estilos parentales de ambos progenitores e identificar los estilos de funcionamiento familiar. La muestra está conformada por jóvenes colombianos, de una población en general (hombres y mujeres) en las edades de 15-25 años. Se aplicaron diferentes instrumentos como lo son EVAMVE, propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Estilo Parentales MOPS y el cuestionario de funcionamiento familiar FF-SIL.
