This research project aims to study the benefits of 3D bioprinting and how much progress has been made on this topic in recent years. Bioprinting, for its part, has positioned itself in a very short time in one of the leading sectors within the 3D printing industry, speaking in terms of innovation. Until recently, the bioprinting market was concentrated exclusively in North America. However, companies and laboratories around the world are currently exploring this field of study. A bibliographic review of the literature was carried out in a non-experimental way using a quantitative methodology since different databases were used in which some criteria were taken for their selection, such as the objectives of the project to understand the current situation of bioprinting. According to the studies found, the variables of the 3D bioprinting process were understood, which are the bioink materials, printing methods and cell printing equipment, in which it was possible to understand the variety of printing processes that exist and their complexity, For this reason, different biolinks can be used to create these tissue-like structures, which has generated an industry that is in the process of growth that has created applications in the health sector and great advantages. Finally, the importance of the research that has generated great advances since this innovation of science and medicine is the future, therefore, they will face challenges or biological, technological, ethical and legal risks that must be studied and solved for investment. of this technological practice in the lives of human beings.
