Resumen
Antecedentes: desde que se ha tenido un conocimiento sobre el maltrato animal
en la ciudad ha sido una problemática de nunca acabar aunque ha existido unas
leyes que han sido clara sobre este tema a falta de una autoridad que haga cumplir
las respectivas normas es un problema que si no se le busca una solución puede
ser una situación de nunca acabar, la ciudadanía que pareciera que toma conciencia
sobre algunos temas con el pasar de el tiempo recae en el mismo problema, es por
eso que con la revisión de la ley 1774 del 2016 buscamos conocer el porqué se
continua con dicha problemática.
Barranquilla siendo una de las ciudades más importantes en el país y con un alto
desarrollo es un poco alarmante que no se tome en cuenta el cuidado animal
sabiendo de las leyes y sentencias emitidas por el estado un claro ejemplo podría
ser la ley que prohíbe los vehículos de tracción animal, aunque esta norma salió en
agosto es cuestionable que a el día de hoy aun hay se vean estos animales
deambulando por la ciudad, esto demuestra el poco interés que tiene la alcaldía por
implementar esta ley y el poca concientización que tienen las personas que hace
uso de estos vehículos pues son ellos los que tienen que colocar de su parte,
aunque existan sanciones los siguen usando.

Barranquilla, being one of the most important cities in the country and with a high development, is a bit alarming that animal care is not taken into account, knowing the laws and sentences issued by the state, a clear example could be the law that prohibits vehicles of animal traction, although this rule came out in August it is questionable that to this day there are still these animals roaming the city, this shows the little interest that the mayor's office has to implement this law and the little awareness that people have that makes use of these vehicles because they are the ones who have to place on their part, although there are penalties, they continue to use them.
