dc.description.abstractEl lupus eritematoso sistémico es una enfermedad crónica, autoinmune en donde los factores genéticos, epigenèticos, ambientales, hormónales han demostrado jugar un papel importante en su fisiopatología, afectando a cualquier órgano; por el ataque del sistema inmunológico a sus propias células causando así inflamación por la formación de depósitos de complejos antígenos-anticuerpo en las células de cualquier órgano, las manifestaciones clínica más frecuentes son las articulares, cutáneas, cardiacas entre las complicaciones. En actualidad gracias al estudio de la epigenètica se han identificado muchos biomarcadores para el diagnóstico tratamiento y seguimiento del LES, entre ellos algunos específicos para el diagnóstico y manejo de afección órgano especifica de esta patología tales como el receptor transmembrana neuropilina-1 (NRP-1) que ayuda al diagnóstico y seguimiento en nefritis lùpica, IFN-I en LES grave, IL-6 como biomarcador específico para LES con afectación pulmonar y SNC entre otros.spa
dc.description.abstractSystemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic, autoimmune disease where genetic, epigenet-ic, environmental, hormonal factors have been shown to play an important role in its patho-physiology, affecting any organ; by the attack of the immune system to its own cells thus causing inflammation by the formation of deposits of antigen-antibody complexes in the cells of any organ, the most frequent clinical manifestations are the articular, cutaneous, cardiac among the complications. At present, thanks to the study of epigenetics, many bi-omarkers have been identified for the diagnosis treatment and follow-up of SLE, including some specific ones for the diagnosis and management of specific organ condition of this pathology such as the neuropilin-1 transmembrane receptor (NRP-1) that helps the diagnosis and follow-up in lupus nephritis, IFN-I in severe SLE, IL-6 as a specific biomarker for SLE with lung involvement and SCN among others..eng
