Hematuria y proteinuria como signos pronósticos de insuficiencia renal crónica en pacientes con nefropatía por IgA

Resumen
OBJETIVO: Observar la relación de los signos de hematuria y proteinuria como potenciales marcadores a favor del deterioro de pacientes con nefropatía por IgA que evoluciona a ERC. MÉTODOS: El proceso de búsqueda consistió en la identificación de estudios relacionados a pacientes con nefropatía por IgA con bases de datos a nivel de Latinoamérica como Scielo, PUBMED, BVS. RESULTADOS: De 258 publicaciones disponibles, 15 estudios cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, sido publicados entre 2010 y 2020. Los estudios presentaron heterogeneidad metodológica. CONCLUSIONES: Es bien sabido que la hematuria y proteinuria son signos cardinales de la nefropatía por IgA, pero estos también juegan un papel importante en el pronóstico hacia el desarrollo de ERC, por esto, dichos signos deben ser tenidos en cuenta por parte del clínico a la hora de realizar el seguimiento al paciente, puesto que existe gran evidencia científica, la cual fue revisada en el siguiente artículo.
