Resumen
El maltrato infantil es una de las situaciones más preocuapantes que se presenta en la sociedad que consiste en el desarrollo de actuaciones que pueden ser de forma física o psicológica hacia los niños y niñas. El ordenamiento jurídico colombiano mediante sus normativas ha establecido la protección que se debe implementar hacia esta población, responsabilizando a la familia, a la sociedad y el Estado generando un compromiso para velar por los derechos de los menores de edad. El objetivo que se estableció en el presente documento investigativo consistió en realizar un análisis profundo sobre la situación social y jurídica del país en relación al maltrato infantil, indicando que es un problemática en donde la educación es una de las estrategias más pertinentes para la solución de ella. La metodología utilizada en la investigación corresponde a la revisión bibliográfica en donde se identifica la información correspondiente a la problemática que se ha venido presentando hacia los menores. Por resultados se obtuvo que esta población se encuentra vulnerable ante las diferentes situaciones y circunstancias sociales que se presentan, no obstante, el nucleo fundamental de la sociedad debe cumplir un papel relacionado con la responsabilidad y protección ante cualquier síntoma de lesión hacia ellos
Child maltreatment is one of the most preoccupying situations that occurs in society that consists of the development of actions that can be physical or psychological towards children. The Colombian legal system through its regulations has established the protection that must be implemented towards this population, holding the family, society and the State responsible, generating a commitment to ensure the rights of minors. The objective established in this research document consisted of conducting an in-depth analysis of the country's social and legal situation in relation to child maltreatment, indicating that it is a problem where education is one of the most relevant strategies for the solution of she. The methodology used in the investigation corresponds to the bibliographic review where the information corresponding to the problem that has been presented to minors is identified. By results it was obtained that this population is vulnerable to the different situations and social circumstances that arise, however, the fundamental nucleus of society must fulfill a role related to the responsibility and protection against any symptom of injury to them.
