Resumen
Mediante este proyecto de investigación y esta estrategia combinada de vacunación se pretende lograr la reducción rápida de la circulación del virus de rubéola y evitar al mismo tiempo que la carga de morbilidad se desplace a los adultos jóvenes susceptibles, en particular a las mujeres en edad fértil. De esta manera, se busca disminuir la incidencia de SRC (OPS, 2003).Es importante determinar el impacto de la vacunación con rubeola en mujeres en edad fértil para prevenir patologías congénitas en lactantes durante el periodo comprendido del 2005 al primer periodo del 2010; en los centros centinelas
El presente proyecto de investigación es de tipo evaluativo retrospectivo. La muestra la constituye niños nacidos en los centros centinelas que presentan signos de malformaciones congénitas. La información de este estudio fue adquirida a través de fuentes secundarias.
En la información recolectada se observa que los resultados de serología comprobados a través de laboratorios clínicos, presenta un mayor porcentaje de negatividad, aunque en algunos casos no registran los resultados de esta manera se desconocen datos. Y además se observa que el mayor porcentaje de notificación se presento durante el año 2008.
By means of this project of investigation and this strategy combined of vaccination it is tried to achieve the rapid reduction of the traffic of the virus of rubella and to avoid at the same time as the load of morbidity moves to the young capable adults, especially to the women in fertile age. Hereby, one seeks to diminish SRC's incident (OPS, 2003) .Es important to determine the impact of the vaccination with rubella in women in fertile age to anticipate congenital pathologies in breast-fed babies during the included period of 2005 to the first period of 2010; in the centers sentries.
