Promoting a culture of science, technology and innovation from an early age becomes a priority, mobilizing in students the configuration of positive conceptions and imaginations about science, technology and its value for the economic, social and cultural development of the countries. On the other hand, within the framework of the public health crisis that is being experienced worldwide by the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the education sector faced the challenge of offering an alternative for the process of training students from the educational centers of the department of Atlántico, that were timely, pertinent and of quality, that included those belonging to the public education system in rural areas and that did not have access to communication technologies such as computers, smartphones and internet access. Faced with this, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the strategy for the development of early vocations in science, technology and innovation in relation to scientific attitudes in students of educational institutions in the department of Atlántico in the context of the health emergency. To achieve this purpose, a quantitative and explanatory empirical analytical investigation was developed, with a descriptive scope; quasi-experimental single-group design; using a sample of 2,073 young people aged between 13 and 19, linked to educational institutions in the municipalities and townships of Atlántico; In order to characterize the institutional conditions of teachers and students in terms of connectivity and technological tools, a survey was designed aimed at the teachers in charge of the research area and for the evaluation of the strategy for the development of early vocations in science, technology and innovation in relation to the scientific attitudes of students from educational institutions in the department of Atlántico in the context of the health emergency, a Likert scale was designed to evaluate scientific attitudes among students from sixth to tenth grade, seeking the construction of an identity that incorporates Science, Technology and Innovation as constitutive elements of a daily culture, where the same exercise of research leads the student and teachers to develop creative skills, innovation and critical thinking, to solve the needs of their context . The main results of the research show that it has been possible to develop scientific attitudes in the students, which has allowed the promotion of a culture of Science, Technology and Innovation in the students of the department. There is a positive attitude towards science in the majority of the students of the department, where they recognize the value of the role that science, technology, innovation and scientific research play in the development of societies and their role in the construction of a sustainable nation. This shows the importance of this type of strategy, which should continue to be strengthened throughout the territory, especially in the rural areas of the department. This study has important contributions for researchers and on the creation of public policies that allow strengthening the development of early vocations and scientific attitudes in the different environments that surround the student.
