y retrospectiva, El seguimiento estuvo centrado
Colombiano. La escala GENCAT utilizada permitió evaluar
ocho dimensiones: Bienestar Emocional (BE), Relaciones
Interpersonales (RI), Bienestar Material (BM), Desarrollo
Personal (DP), Bienestar Físico (BF), Autodeterminación
(AD), Inclusión Social (IS) y Derechos (DE).
Objective: To evaluate the perception of quality of life (QL) in patients with Lupus Nephritis (LN). Materials and Methods: Analytical, longitudinal and retrospective cohort study. The follow-up is focused on a risk management model in a clinic in the Colombian Caribbean. The GENCAT scale is the result of a high performance care plan: Emotional Wellbeing (EW), Interpersonal Relationships (IR), Material Wellbeing (MW), Personal Development (PD), Physical Well-Being (PW), Self- Determination (SD), Social Inclusion (SI) and Rights (RI). Three controls were made: an initial one on admission and an annual during the two years of follow-up. Results: Patients presented poor CV at the beginning of the study. The lowest scores belong to three aspects: MW (x = 16.9%), PW (x = 10.9%) and RI (x = 2.47%). In the subsequent controls, the total average value of the 8 aspects studied increased from 39.7% to 53.1% (p <0.05) with statistically significant improvement in PW, PD, PW and in the RI (p <0.05). Conclusions: Depression and low self-esteem observed at the beginning, impediment of good interpersonal relationships, project goals and self-care. The good response to the model used was associated with a significant improvement in the perceived CV.
