dc.description.abstract | El siguiente trabajo es un estudio descriptivo comparativo de las alteraciones generadas en el proceso de toma de decisión de 2 adultos poli consumidores con edades comprendidas entre los 20 y 50 años adscritos al programa alcohólicos anónimos de la ciudad de barranquilla; el cual tuvo su fundamentación en una metodología cuantitativa, a través de un tipo de estudio y un diseño de investigación descriptivo-comparativo, sustentado en el paradigma empírico analítico y fue trazado por medio de un diseño expostfacto y un muestreo no probabilístico. Es de vital importancia resaltar que el autor guía de este estudio fue Antonio Damasio (1996) a través de su teoría del marcador somático, por lo que a su vez estuvo enmarcado en un enfoque Neuropsicológico conjugando nociones referentes a las funciones ejecutivas y dentro de estas la toma de decisión, conceptos que están enmarcados en la relación cerebro-conducta haciendo posible optimar y ahondar en el conocimiento de los fundamentos biológicos que subyacen a los procesos mentales y utilizando instrumentos tales como el Iowa Gambling task, la escala Dex, el Stroop en su forma A y B y los laberintos del WISC R, que permitieron determinar los niveles de complejidad del deterioro en los procesos de toma de decisión. De esta manera, se hizo posible hallar que los policonsumidores evaluados sometidos a un proceso de recuperación indistintamente del tiempo de abstinencia aun continúan presentando secuelas del consumo y por ende patrones de respuesta desfavorables, lo que puede incidir en las decisiones futuras asociadas al riesgo de una recaída, mostrando una Miope hacia el futuro y una omisión de los marcadores somáticos o estados de alarma fisiológicos que emite el cuerpo para indicar los posibles riesgos existentes en una alternativa de respuesta (Damasio, 1996). | spa |
