Resumen
La malnutrición tiene gran impacto a nivel mundial, por eso es importante
encontrar el factor que más incide para tratarla y prevenirla. Objetivo General:
Determinar el perfil epidemiológico del estado nutricional de las gestantes y niños
menores de 5 años en el Hospital Materno Infantil de Soledad en el periodo 2018-
2019. Diseño Metodológico: Tipo de estudio analítico descriptivo, retrospectivo y
cuantitativo con una dirección temporal transversal. Resultados: En el periodo
2018 II hubieron 9 niños con alteración del estado nutricional lo que es el 40% de
la población y 12 niñas que es el 60% de la población, en el 2019 ll niños 6 que es
el 40% y niñas 9 que es el 60 %, la Eps con más casos reportados fue
SALAMANCA con un 35% en el 2018 y en el 2019 COOSALUD con un 30%.
