Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la percepción de seguridad del paciente en la atención domiciliaria relacionado con lavado de manos y manejo de heridas, en funcionarios asistenciales y pacientes adscritos a la IPS, bajo una metodología de tipo descriptivo transversal, utilizándose dos instrumentos; uno que permitió evaluó la percepción de seguridad del paciente el Survey on Patient Safety versión española, a través de 12 dimensiones aplicado a 14 funcionarios de la salud, y por otro lado se aplicó un instrumento “buenas prácticas en bioseguridad” a 42 pacientes, dejando conocer la percepción sobre la calidad, oportunidad, conocimiento, que brinda el personal de la IPS a los pacientes. El resultado positivo de esta investigación, dentro de las dimensiones asociadas a la parte administrativa la percepción de los funcionarios en promedio general fue del 49% resaltando aprendizaje organizacional con un 72%, así mismo las dimensiones que evaluaron trabajo en equipo y comunicación el promedio fue del 62% positivo y por ultimo las dimensiones que evaluaron las buenas prácticas en seguridad del paciente con notificación de eventos fue del 80% para un promedio global del 57% positivo; por otro lado la percepción de los pacientes frente a la prestación del servicio domiciliario evaluaron con 73% en buenas prácticas de bioseguridad resaltando él uso de EPP, en cuanto a la calidad evaluaron con 38% positivo y en cuanta a la oportunidad con un 45% positivo. Concluyéndose que aún no hay una política de seguridad del paciente con relación a la atención domiciliaria.
