The growing production of exotic fruits in Colombia over the years and the interest of foreign countries in getting to know the Colombian market due to the limited local supply, has led to the production, marketing and export of fruit pulps. Currently PROCOLOMBIA, the entity in charge of attracting foreign investment and boosting the country's exports, does not have a methodological guide for exporting fruit pulp; For this reason, it is considered important to propose a guide that allows orienting the producer when facing export processes of this asset. The country, through government challenges and incentives, seeks to be internationally competitive in the commercialization and distribution of fruits, in this case, finished products such as fruit pulps. According to the Annual Manufacturing Survey - EAM 2015 of the National Statistical Administrative District (DANE), the food industry represents about 30%, being one of the largest and most important sectors for the Colombian economy. However, the fruit and vegetable agribusiness represents 1% of the gross production of the food sector, and 0.2% of the total manufacturing agribusiness.
