Resumen
Objetivo: Identificar factores de riesgo cardiovascular relacionados
con estilos de vida en estudiantes de una escuela
del Distrito.
Materiales y Métodos: estudio descriptivo, transversal la población
fue 401, eligiendo una muestra de 196 estudiantes.
Se utilizó el instrumento Encuesta Mundial de Salud Escolar,
que evalúo alimentación, actividad física, consumo de tabaco
y alcohol. Para el procesamiento y análisis de la información,
el programa Epi-info.
Resultados: los factores de riesgo relacionados a conductas
alimentarias en los estudiantes señalaron el consumo
de bebidas azucaradas. Se evidencio sedentarismo en los
adolescentes; no consume alcohol, manifestando el inicio de
consumo de 14 a 15 años, la cerveza la bebida favorita; se
destaca el no consumo de tabaco.
Conclusión: algunas variables constituyen factores protectores
presentes en los jóvenes como el no consumo de
tabaco, alcohol, alimentarias como el consumo de frutas,
verduras y disminución de alimentos grasos; siendo compatibles
con las políticas actuales del Programa de alimentación
escolar en el país. Esta investigación contribuye a promover
la salud desde temprana edad.
Objective: To identify cardiovascular risk factors related to lifestyles in students of a District school. Materials and Methods: descriptive, cross-sectional study population was 401, choosing a sample of 196 students. The World School Health Survey instrument was used, which evaluated food, physical activity, tobacco and alcohol consumption. For the processing and analysis of information, the Epi-info program. Results: the risk factors related to food behavior in the students indicated the consumption of sugary drinks. There was evidence of a sedentary lifestyle in adolescents; does not consume alcohol, showing the beginning of consumption of 14 to 15 years, beer the favorite drink; the non-consumption of tobacco stands out. Conclusion: some variables are protective factors present in young people as the non-consumption of tobacco, alcohol, food as the consumption of fruits, vegetables and decrease in fatty foods; being compatible with the current policies of the School Feeding Program in the country. This research contributes to promote health from an early age.
