In the current work environment, the increasing demand and complexity have led to a workload that impacts the mental health of workers. Anxiety has become common, triggered by constant pressure and workplace expectations, contributing to burnout syndrome. This case study focuses on a 40-year-old man in an administrative setting seeking psychological intervention due to anxiety symptoms related to his workload and family concerns. The case development revolves around the assessment, diagnosis, and intervention in difficulties such as sleep disturbances, challenges in interpersonal relationships, and family-related concerns. The psychological intervention, based on the cognitive-behavioral approach, addresses anxiety, strengthens coping skills, and promotes self-care. The importance of personalized intervention is emphasized to alleviate current symptoms and prevent long-term negative consequences. The intervention results show significant improvements, with low scores on anxiety and job stress questionnaires. However, the continuity of the support process is highlighted as essential to consolidate workplace well-being and prevent future challenges. In conclusion, this case illustrates the complexity of workload and its consequences on mental health, emphasizing the importance of therapeutic strategies based on the cognitive-behavioral approach to comprehensively address these challenges
