Resumen
Antecedentes: Es preocupante cómo un número significativo de estudiantes universitarios inician el consumo de drogas y este es el primer paso hacia la implicación más seria de este, es decir, el camino a la adicción. De allí parte la necesidad de analizar, conocer y profundizar en el consumo en jóvenes ya que es uno de los comportamientos más problemáticos en la actualidad. En definitiva, buscamos determinar la presencia del consumo de SPA en jóvenes universitarios de la Costa Caribe Colombiana. Por otra parte, tuvimos en cuenta la investigación realizada por Arrieta (2009), ya que es de relevancia para nosotros, teniendo en cuenta que hizo un análisis con la escala AUDIT en alumnos universitarios en la Universidad de Cartagena-Colombia, para establecer la frecuencia del consumo patológico de alcohol y caracterizar las cambiantes en relación con este. Objetivos: Los objetivos de esta investigación están dirigidos a: (1) Identificar el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en jóvenes universitarios de la Costa Caribe Colombiana, (2) Determinar la presencia del consumo de tabaco en jóvenes universitarios de la Costa Caribe Colombiana, (3) Describir la existencia del consumo de cocaína en jóvenes universitarios Costa Caribe Colombiana, (4) Evidenciar el consumo de cannabis en jóvenes universitarios Costa Caribe Colombiana. Materiales y Métodos: La investigación está enmarcada en un enfoque cuantitativo, por tanto, se considera necesario la recolección de datos, la medición numérica y el análisis estadístico, donde se aplicó la escala estandarizada y avalada por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) ASSIST; cuestionario de 10 reactivos que indaga sobre la identificación de consumo de SPA.
Background: It is worrying how a significant number of university students initiate drug use and this is the first step towards its most serious implication, that is, the road to addiction. From there stems the need to analyse, know and deepen consumption in young people since it is one of the most problematic behaviors today. In short, we seek to determine the presence of SPA consumption in university students from the Colombian Caribbean Coast. On the other hand, we considered the research carried out by Arrieta (2009), since it is relevant to us, considering that he did an analysis with the AUDIT scale in university students at the University of Cartagena-Colombia, to establish the frequency pathological consumption of alcohol and characterize the changes in relation to it. Objectives: The objectives of this research are aimed at: (1) Identifying the consumption of psychoactive substances in university students of the Colombian Caribbean Coast, (2) Determining the presence of tobacco consumption in university students of the Colombian Caribbean Coast, (3) Describe the existence of cocaine use in university students on the Colombian Caribbean Coast, (4) Demonstrate the use of cannabis in university students on the Colombian Caribbean Coast. Materials and Methods: The research is framed in a quantitative approach, therefore, data collection, numerical measurement and statistical analysis are considered necessary, where the standardized scale endorsed by the World Health Organization (WHO) was applied. ASSIST: Questionnaire of 10 reagents that inquiries about the identification of PAS consumption.
