Resumen
Antecedentes: La diabetes es una enfermedad crónica desencadenada cuando el páncreas no produce suficiente insulina o el organismo no puede utilizar con eficacia la insulina que produce; actualmente se constituye como un problema de salud pública seleccionada para intervenir con carácter prioritario.
Objetivos: Caracterizar los estilos de vida de las mujeres posparto diagnosticadas con diabetes gestacional que participaron en un programa de educación para la salud mediada por las tecnologías móviles.
Materiales y Métodos: Estudio descriptivo de corte transversal destinado a las mujeres embarazadas con diagnóstico de diabetes gestacional y sus resultados durante el embarazo, el parto y el postparto. La población para el estudio serán mujeres del distrito de Barranquilla diagnosticadas con diabetes gestacional se tendrán en cuenta aquellas mujeres que ya han tenido sus hijos, mujeres diagnosticadas con diabetes gestacional, mujeres que vivan en Barranquilla, y acepten participar voluntariamente. Resultados: En el consumo de frutas y verduras el 70,83 % de las mujeres entre los 16-25 años manifestaron que consumen frutas y verduras 1 o 2 veces al día, el 87,50% de la misma edad no practican ningún tipo de actividad física, mientras que en la actividad física moderada se observa que el 62,50% de las mujeres practican 30 minutos de actividad física moderada por día y un 91,47% de estas mujeres negaron salir a caminar.
Conclusiones: De acuerdo con los resultados obtenidos se concluye que las mujeres en etapa de gestación el mayor porcentaje se encuentra en unión libre, su nivel académico solo culminaron la secundaria, el consumo de frutas y verduras y el nivel de actividad física eran muy bajos.

The population for the study will be women from the district of Barranquilla diagnosed with gestational diabetes will be considered those women who have already had their children, women diagnosed with gestational diabetes, women living in Barranquilla, accept to participate voluntarily. Results: In the consumption of fruits and vegetables, 70.83% of women between 16 and 25 years old said that they consume fruits and vegetables 1 or 2 times a day, 87.50% of the same age do not practice any type of physical activity, while in moderate physical activity it is observed that 62.50% of women practice 30 minutes of moderate physical activity per day and 91.47% of these women refused to go out for a walk. Conclusions: According to the results obtained, it is concluded that women in pregnancy stage the highest percentage is in free union, their academic level only culminated in high school, the consumption of fruits and vegetables and the level of physical activity were very low.
