Resumen
La evaluación de los programas de salud, es una herramienta que nos permite medir de cierta forma como se está llevando a cabo la prestación de los servicios de salud y si este está siendo beneficioso y de calidad para los que estén afiliados a los servicios de una institución de salud.
El presente trabajo investigativo está dirigida a evaluación del programa de tuberculosis en el Hospital materno infantil de soledad-Atlántico ubicado en la ciudad de Barranquilla, Colombia. Para ello se tuvo en cuenta las macro-variables de Estructura, Proceso y Resultado.
Para medir estas variables se ha realizado una encuesta que abarque de manera detallada y precisa las preguntas necesarias para la obtención de los resultados. Para la evaluación de la infraestructura y de los procesos fue necesaria una apreciación más objetiva por parte de los investigadores. Luego de haber obtenido la información se aplicó la tabulación de la información que nos permitirá observar si se están llevando correctamente los lineamientos establecidos por la Resolución 0412 del año 2000.
Cabe resaltar que la salud es una necesidad de todos los seres humanos y que tener un diagnostico de tuberculosis es una situación que genera cierta incapacidad a quien posee esta enfermedad, que además tiene tratamiento pero lo que es aun más importante es que puede ser prevenida si se llevan a cabo las medidas necesarias.
The evaluation of health programs, is a tool that allows us to measure a certain way it is carrying out the provision of health services and if it is still beneficial and quality for those who are affiliated with the services of a health institution. This research work is aimed at evaluation the tuberculosis program at Hospital Materno Infantil de Soledad- Atlántico located in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. To carry out this assessment has taken into account important variables such as Health personnel, the structure of the institution, disease prevention, and program process. Patient enrollment in the program, the treatment scheme, which provides information and home visits in case of absence from the program. To measure these variables there has been realized a survey that it includes in a detailed way and needs the questions necessary for the obtaining of the results. For the evaluation of the infrastructure and of the processes a more objective appraisal was necessary on the part of the investigators. After obtained credit the information applied to itself the tabulation of the information that it will allow us to observe if they are taking to him correctly the limits established by the Resolution 0412 of the year 2000. It should be notes that health is a necessity for all human beings have a diagnosis of tuberculosis is a situation that causes some disability who has this illness, wich is treatable but it is even more important, it can be prevented if carried out the necessary measures.
