Resumen
El estudio tuvo como objetivo conocer la incidencia la pandemia del covid 19, en el incremento de la violencia intrafamiliar en el barrio Simpson well (Baker Bight) de San Andrés Islas, Colombia. Esta es una investigación cuantitativa, diseño descriptivo, empleando la técnica de la entrevista semiestructurada a una muestra de 20 hogares del sector con manifestaciones de violencia, en el periodo del confinamiento. Los resultados mostraron que factores como las sustancias psicoactivas, la dependencia económica, la residencia de los familiares externos en el núcleo familiar, la negación de las cuotas alimentarias, la ineficiencia de las autoridades, son incidentes en el incremento de violencia intrafamiliar en el sector. Se concluye que esta violencia se ha normalizado por el desconocimiento de los derechos humanos, por las creencias sociales y la poca intervención de las autoridades competentes. El enfoque que oriento el estudio fue el cuantitativo, con diseño descriptivo, previo consentimiento informado, firmado por cada uno de los participantes se utilizó como instrumento la entrevista semiestructurada.
La elección de esta población para la entrevista obedece al objetivo principal, que es conocer la incidencia de la pandemia por covid-19 en el incremento de la violencia intrafamiliar en el barrio Simpson well (Barker bight) de san Andrés islas.
The objective of this article was to know the incidence of the covid 19 pandemic, in the increase in domestic violence in the Simpson well neighborhood (Baker Bight) of San Andrés Islas, Colombia. This is a quantitative research, with a methodological design, using the semi-structured interview technique with a sample of 20 households in the sector with manifestations of violence, during the confinement period. The results showed that factors such as psychoactive substances, economic dependence, the residence of external relatives in the family nucleus, the denial of food quotas, the inefficiency of the authorities, are incidents in the increase in the figures of domestic violence in the sector. It is concluded that this violence has been normalized by the ignorance of human rights, by social beliefs and the little intervention of the competent authorities. The approach that guided the study was quantitative, with a descriptive design, prior informed consent, signed by each of the participants, the semi-structured interview was used as an instrument. The choice of this population for the interview is due to the main objective, which is to know the incidence of the covid-19 pandemic in the increase in domestic violence in the Simpson well neighborhood (Barker bight) of San Andrés Islas.
