This study focuses on the complex process of damage repair in women who have been victims of psychological violence, specifically those attended to at the Family Police Station of Sabanagrande, Atlántico. The main objective of the research is to analyze how women experience and navigate their repair process. This recovery involves a combination of emotional healing, reconstruction of subjective well-being, and transformation of family dynamics that are often altered by the violence suffered. The research is based on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), which highlights psychological violence as a form of discrimination that requires priority attention. This approach aligns with Colombia's international obligations to guarantee and protect women's rights, as well as with commitments established in various regulations aimed at eradicating gender violence. Additionally, the study is situated within the context of the National Mental and Emotional Health Policy 2024-2033, which recognizes mental health as an essential right. The research seeks to contribute to the objectives of this policy, focusing on comprehensive care and reducing the impact of violence on women's mental health, thus promoting a more holistic approach sensitive to the needs of victims. To achieve these objectives, a qualitative methodology was employed, including in-depth individual interviews guided by a phenomenological- hermeneutic approach. This methodological approach allowed for a rich and nuanced exploration of the lived experiences of the participants, capturing not only the traumatic events but also the emotional interpretations, learnings, and strategies that each woman has developed in her repair process. The work is organized into five clear sections: the first presents the problem statement and the research objectives; the second addresses the background and theoretical framework supporting the study; the third describes in detail the implemented methodological design; the fourth presents the results of the analysis of the participants' discourses; and the fifth offers conclusions and practical recommendations based on the findings.
