Resumen
El objetivo de este artículo es valorar, desde la perspectiva de los profesores, la posibilidad
de innovar las estrategias de enseñanza en la Escuela Normal Superior María
Auxiliadora de Cúcuta (Colombia) con el uso de la estrategia aprendizaje basado en
retos, tema que se conceptualiza y se plantea la investigación descriptiva en su aplicación,
así como los conceptos de innovación y estrategias educativas de acuerdo con
fuentes secundarias de información. Para la recolección de la información se utilizó
la técnica de los grupos focales, la cual se orientó a través de una guía de preguntas
que se desarrolló en dos sesiones de trabajo realizadas en el último trimestre de 2018.
Como resultado, se encontró una visión tradicional del trabajo del maestro manifestada
en las estrategias (clase magistral), los recursos (libro de texto) y la evaluación
(medicional); sin embargo, también se identificó un deseo de innovar y modificar las
prácticas de enseñanza a partir de procesos de formación y en un trabajo colectivo.
En este contexto se identificó la potencialidad del aprendizaje basado en retos como
una estrategia que se puede desarrollar desde las diferentes asignaturas y que permite
trascender desde los espacios del aula para realizar una enseñanza contextuada y
pertinente, análisis que constituyen una valiosa guía para el desarrollo de futuras
investigaciones relacionadas con el tema.
The objective of this article is to assess, from the teachers’ perspective, the possibility of innovating teaching strategies at the María Auxiliadora Normal School of Cúcuta, Colombia with the use of the challenge-based learning strategy, a theme that is conceptualized and Descriptive research is proposed in its application, as well as the concepts of innovation and educational strategies according to secondary sources of information. To collect the information, the focus group technique was used, which was guided through a question guide that was developed in two work sessions held in the last quarter of 2018. As a result, a traditional vision of the teacher’s work manifested in the strategies (master class), resources (textbook) and evaluation (medical); however, a desire to innovate and modify teaching practices based on training processes and in a job was also identified collective. In this context, the potentiality of challenge-based learning was identified as a strategy that can be developed from different subjects and that allows transcending from classroom spaces to carry out contextual and pertinent teaching, analyzes that constitute a valuable guide for the development of future research related to the topic.
