Violence towards health professionals has generated great controversies and concerns about the large population centers of Colombia, generating an important alert especially those who suffer in environments conducive to generation. Estimating its true dimension is complex, because cases are not registered and even the most serious ones do not usually inform the authorities. In the world, occupational risks cause 270 million accidents and according to the ILO (2003) every year there are two million deaths at work. Annually there are 160 million non-fatal occupational diseases, of which 10% are mental illnesses caused by occupational risk factors of psychosocial type among which violence begins to be considered at work, which creates the need to make a call of attention to this growing problem that can affect the productivity and psychomotor development of the professional in his faculties or competences. Materials and methods: a cross-sectional, descriptive study was carried out to determine the perception of the health professional in the factors that trigger labor aggressions in IPSs of the city of Barranquilla with validation of the survey.
