Academic and work stress are relevant issues in the university context, especially among students who combine study and work, as they can affect psychological well-being, performance, and quality of life. In this regard, it is essential to understand how these types of stress influence subjective well-being, defined as the personal evaluation of life satisfaction. The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between academic stress, work stress, and subjective well-being among evening students at Simón Bolívar University, Cúcuta campus. A quantitative, descriptive, and correlational design was conducted with 139 students who study and work simultaneously. Data were collected using the IEA, ILO-WHO, and BIARE instruments. The results revealed low levels of academic and work stress, as well as medium and high levels of subjective well-being. No significant relationship was found between academic stress and subjective well-being; however, a positive and moderate correlation emerged between work stress and well-being, indicating that students with higher well-being perceive work demands as more manageable and balanced.
