internacionales.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been recognized as a strategic management tool aimed at improving the quality of life for workers and the community. In the field of healthcare, CSR is a relevant yet underexplored topic. The investigative study focuses on determining the level of development of the E.S.E Regional Central Hospital in relation to the ISO 26000 CSR standard. The research, of a qualitative nature, was conducted within a historical hermeneutic framework, employing a descriptive, explanatory, or correlational design. The information collection technique utilized questionnaires, covering 100% of the E.S.E's processes. The results show that mission processes have an 80% compliance rate with the ISO 26000 standard, while strategic processes reach 50%. Measurement and support processes exhibit compliance rates of 85% and 75%, respectively. It is noteworthy that measurement processes demonstrate the highest adherence, reflecting the institution's emphasis on continuous improvement. Prioritizing strategic direction processes is recommended, as they exhibit a lower level of standard compliance. In conclusion, the E.S.E Regional Central Hospital demonstrates strong adherence to the ISO 26000 standard, particularly in its mission and measurement processes, reflecting its commitment to both health regulations and its strategic platform. However, there is a need to strengthen CSR implementation in strategic processes for greater alignment with international standards.
