Background: The neurocutaneous flap is an axial pattern flap that receives its vascular supply through neurocutaneous perforators of the lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve, which has shown favorable results when used for soft tissue reconstruction in the upper extremities. Objective: The objective of this study is to demonstrate the usefulness of the flap to cover complex defects in the hand, in a single surgical time and without having to sacrifice vital structures of the limb. Materials and Methods: A regional forearm flap surgical technique, the lateral forearm neurocutaneous flap, was used to cover two complex hand defects. Results: stable coverage was achieved for the two complex defects of the hand.
