Increasing strategies to achieve detection, increase coverage and optimize treatment in Afro-descendant individuals in Latin America are required. Studies with sufficient sample size are needed to see the differences according to gender, race purity, miscegenation, social influence, migrations, industrialization and severity of hypertension.eng
