Motherhood, (2007), considers it as a multi-determined cultural practice created by the norms and needs of a certain social group at a time in its history, "it is stated that, to that extent, motherhood is a revealer of the social order of gender” p. 67. The way in which women experience the process of being mothers is something that socially does not matter or is unknown, so perpetuating the discussion of motherhood as a feminine issue or downplaying its importance results in symbolic violence directed mainly at women themselves. women. The romanticization of motherhood is a cultural phenomenon in which the role of being a mother is exalted and idealized, presenting it as something wonderful, full of unconditional love, constant joy and full satisfaction. This idealization is reflected in society through images, movies, books, and social media, creating unrealistic expectations about the experience of being a mother. However, this romanticization can have negative consequences by generating pressures and stereotypes on women who do not fit this ideal, generating feelings of guilt, frustration and devaluation. However, motherhood is far from fulfilling such a conception. So why such romanticization? In its desire to sell an ideal far removed from reality, advertising - one of its greatest exponents - has assumed that those days of uncontrollable crying, complex breastfeeding, changing diapers and waking up every two hours, can be erased in one fell swoop. pulling when the baby is born. This trend has taken part in many scenarios, but this is, perhaps, one of the most affected. In this way, the present investigation is proposed, in which it is intended to consider and analyze how the stereotypes that have been established in society about the conception of motherhood have determined the role that women must fulfill. The sample was made up of (N=21) research subjects between the ages of 18 and 50, (n= 11) of them women and (n= 10) of them men. In this research we use the survey, this strategy is usually done with a random population sample whose subjects are asked questions aimed at knowing what their preferred option to vote will be. Many of the mothers and even fathers expressed how they have felt blamed, criticized and even violated for how they have decided to exercise their motherhood and fatherhood, and for not meeting the standards generally established by the traditional population. On the other hand, there are some people who mention that from the beginning they knew that being a mother was something of sacrifice and patience, so they have not felt this way. It is also highlighted how romanticization has generated a negative impact, since this has caused anxiety, depression, irrationality, non-conformity and guilt in mothers. It is important to recognize that motherhood is a unique experience for each woman and that not all experiences fit this idealized concept. It is essential to promote a more realistic and diverse vision of motherhood, one that recognizes the difficulties and challenges it entails, as well as the moments of happiness and satisfaction. This will allow women to make informed decisions about their reproductive lives and feel valued beyond their role as mothers
