End-stage renal disease (ESRD) constitutes a complex clinical-humoral syndrome as an expression of an irreversible deterioration of renal function with multiple etiologies, which usually evolves slowly and progressively, until reaching the state of terminal uremia, with all its complications. Kidney transplantation is currently the treatment of choice for patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease (ESRD). This procedure is increasing day by day, explained by the increase in the population with end-stage kidney disease. The anesthesiologist plays a fundamental role for the success of the surgery, since diuresis must be promoted and vasospasm of the renal artery avoided, so adequate hemodynamic control and measures to promote it are the cornerstone to achieve said success.eng
