Abstract
Antecedentes: Las enfermedades transmitidas por vectores como las garrapatas son un problema a nivel mundial, esto debido a los costos relacionados con los tratamientos y la disminución en la producción del ganado. Estas enfermedades causan graves problemas de morbi-mortalidad en la salud pública y sanidad animal, como consecuencia de la relación y el contacto frecuente entre los animales domésticos y las personas (Eraso-Cadena et al., 2018). Actualmente en Colombia se han reportado pocos casos donde se evidencie la presencia de hemoparásitos involucrados con animales de producción, de aquí la importancia de estudiar la frecuencia de miembros de la familia Anaplasmataceae.
Background Vector-borne diseases such as ticks are a worldwide problem, this due to the costs related to treatments and the decrease in livestock production. These diseases cause serious morbi- mortality problems in public health and animal health, as a consequence of the relationship and frequent contact between domestic animals and people (Eraso-Cadena et al., 2018). Currently in Colombia, few cases have been reported where the presence of hemoparasites involved with production animals is evidenced, hence the importance of studying the frequency of members of the Anaplasmataceae family.
