When trying to talk about this scourge that affects our society with our children and adolescents; Unfortunately, the minors who are part of our Indigenous Community, in this case the Wayuu Indigenous People, are not exempt from this type of behavior, which becomes a little more aggravated and invisibility in the understanding that it is a population with differential approach, and these are the reasons that lead me to present to you and other scientific disciplines the specific characteristics that differentiate the psychosocial aspects of this population compared to the rest of the citizenry. Likewise, establish the need to improve the intervention mechanisms established by the state with its interdisciplinary team and the rules and regulations established in the centers (CAIMED AND CETRA) for the attention of minor offenders to try to minimize the criminal behavior of these young children. and adolescent offenders of the norm paying attention to and understanding their thoughts about the environment; not leaving aside their own ancestral principles of their culture.
