Resumen
El mundo globalizado de hoy exige innovación en todos los sectores económicos, tanto en productos y servicios como en la competitividad que estén acordes con las demandas del mercado y que cumplan con criterios de sustentabilidad y equidad, como en procesos eficientes y limpios, donde es de gran importancia que las empresas se internacionalicen y se relacionen con los mercados internacionales, logrando la expansión a nuevos mercados globalizados, de esta forma, el objetivo general de la investigación es definir la internacionalización como ventaja competitiva en las pymes del sector calzado de la cuidad de san José de Cúcuta, y sus objetivos específicos son determinar los factores de competitividad en las pymes del sector calzado de la cuidad de san José de Cúcuta, identificar los factores que desencadenan la internacionalización en las pymes del sector calzado y proponer estrategias de internacionalización que promuevan el crecimiento del sector calzado en san José de Cúcuta. Del mismo modo, el enfoque a considerar fue cualitativo, donde debido a la crisis sanitaria provocada por el Covid-19 la empresa considerada fue Bancalzado, la cual arrojo que la internacionalización en el sector calzado de la ciudad no es un proceso que se tome a consideración el cual las empresas deben implementar para lograr posicionarse a nivel internacional
