Resumen
El presente trabajo tiene como propósito implementar un sistema de gestión de inventarios como estrategia de control de componentes reparables para maquinaria de extracción minera con la finalidad de agregar valor en la medida que se garantice disponibilidad de este tipo de materiales en la operación y que a su vez soporte la planeación de mantenimiento de estos equipos. Con esta propuesta se busca identificar los aspectos relevantes en el proceso de reabastecimiento y reparación de componentes menores para maquinaria de extracción minera, y mediante esto lograr satisfacer las necesidades en cuanto a demanda del usuario final.
El problema de la empresa radica en el departamento de mantenimiento, el cual no tienen un criterio establecido y estructurado y/o un proceso estandarizado y un plan de cambio de componentes de cada equipo, el cual muchas veces envían repuestos para que sean reparados sin saber si es viable para la empresa ocasionando que se disminuya la capacidad de almacenamiento y como consecuencia un incremento del valor del inventario.
Por otro lado, se encontrarán cada uno de los conceptos de cada factor implicado en el proceso de reabastecimiento de materiales, así como la importancia de definir una lista de componentes con viabilidad de enviar a reparar o en su defecto comprar el componente nuevo, mediante de criterios acordados entre las áreas involucradas y la definición de niveles de inventario. Además, se hará un análisis general de todo el proceso de la operación de extracción minera, con el fin de optimizar el capital de trabajo, disminuyendo la cantidad de transacciones, aumentando la disponibilidad de equipos y diseñando controles de reabastecimiento que permita a la cadena de abastecimiento ofrecer el nivel de
servicio esperado por el usuario final, especialmente hablando del área de mantenimiento.
Este control generara un crecimiento de la rentabilidad de la empresa y contribuye a la reducción de costos logísticos.
Este proyecto de investigación es de tipo cuantitativo-descriptivo, para soportar esta propuesta se tuvo en cuenta el modelo EOQ, punto de reorden y el stock de seguridad, ya que actualmente la solicitud se realiza de forma manual y no automática.

On the other hand, each of the concepts of each factor involved in the process of replenishment of materials is found, as well as the importance of defining a list of components with the feasibility of sending a repair or failing to buy the new component, using criteria agreed between the areas involved and the definition of inventory levels. In addition, a general analysis will be made of the entire process of the mining extraction operation, in order to optimize working capital, reducing the number of movements, the availability of equipment and the design of replenishment controls that allow the chain of sourcing offer the level of service expected by the end user, especially speaking of the maintenance area. This control generates a growth in the profitability of the company and contributes to the reduction of logistics costs. This research project is of a quantitative-descriptive type, to support this proposal, the EOQ model, reorder point and the safety stock were taken into account, since currently the request is made manually and not automatically.
