Resumen
El proceso de investigación que a continuación se presenta es un estudio de caso que se
realizó en una institución educativa privada del departamento del Atlántico en el municipio de
Baranoa, cuyo objetivo estuvo en diseñar un modelo de evaluación curricular que permitiera el
aseguramiento de la calidad educativa que ofrece la escuela. El enfoque que se presenta es
cualitativo y el paradigma que sustenta la investigación es hermenéutico. La población y muestra
es de carácter criterial, conformada por la representación de los órganos colegiados que hacen
parte de la institución educativa santo Domingo Savio de Baranoa. El decurso del trabajo se
realizó en cuatro fases de investigación que permitieron el alcance del objetivo trazado.
Así mismo es importante señalar que la aplicación de instrumentos como entrevistas,
grupos focales, revisión documental y observaciones permitieron recoger información valiosa, la
cual fue analizada mediante algunos software de tratamiento para investigaciones cualitativas,
de esta manera se identificaron códigos y categorías de análisis que a la luz del marco teórico
permitieron la interpretación y discusión para exponer los aportes de los hallazgos encontrados
en la investigación e identificar los elementos teóricos, epistemológicos, metodológicos que
configuraron el modelo de evaluación curricular contextualizado para la institución abordada en
esta investigación.
The research process that is presented below is a case study that was carried out in a private educational institution in the department of Atlántico in the municipality of Baranoa, whose objective was to design a model of curricular evaluation that would allow the assurance of educational quality. that the school offers. The approach presented is qualitative and the paradigm that supports the research is hermeneutical. The population and sample is of a criterial nature, made up of the representation of the collegiate bodies that are part of the Santo Domingo Savio de Baranoa educational institution. The course of the work was carried out in four research phases that allowed the achievement of the outlined objective. Likewise, it is important to point out that the application of instruments such as interviews, focus groups, documentary review, observations adapted from the evaluation model allowed the collection of valuable information, which was analyzed through some treatment software for qualitative research, in this way codes and categories of analysis that in light of the theoretical framework allowed the interpretation and discussion to expose the contributions of the findings found in the investigación and identify the theoretical, epistemological, methodological elements that configured the contextualized curricular evaluation model for the institution addressed in this investigation.
