Resumen
La presente investigación se ha desarrollado a fin de conocer las formas en que la comunicación popular aporta y permea en el desarrollo comunitario, haciendo principal énfasis en la comunidad del barrio Motilones de la ciudad de San José de Cúcuta, donde actualmente ejerce incidencia el movimiento social Frontera Morada, el cual ejecuta procesos enfatizados en la comunicación popular, promoviendo la participación de la población, para así lograr consolidar dichos procesos en buenos términos, teniendo un impacto significativo. La metodología utilizada es lo referente al enfoque cualitativo, bajo el paradigma histórico hermenéutico y un diseño de estudio de caso, utilizando técnicas de recolección de información como la revisión documental, y la entrevista semiestructurada; además el estudio se abordó desde la teoría de acción comunicativa plantea por Habermas (1987), y desde los aportes de otros autores como Jesús Martín Barbero & María Cristina Mata, quienes contribuyen para dar un soporte verídico a la investigación. Entre los principales hallazgos, se menciona que a través de los distintos procesos de comunicación popular, se busca la restructuración de la población, y la reivindicación de sus derechos, esto, permitiendo que la población se exprese libremente y de forma democrática, visibilizando la realidad a la que se enfrentan distintas comunidades, en relación especifica con la comunidad del barrio Motilones, el colectivo frontera morada, desarrolla estos procesos capacitando y motivando especialmente a los jóvenes, para incentivar en ellos una postura crítica ante las distintas injusticias que se presentan, y de la cuales ellos son víctimas, de esa manera los procesos se promueven por medio del arte, la cultura, la ciencia, el periodismo, la música y la danza, en este sentido se puede inferir que los procesos enfatizados en la comunicación popular son reales y se consolidad de forma positiva, siempre que exista una participación activa de los sujetos sociales, en el desarrollo de los mismos.
This research has been developed in order to know the ways in which popular communication contributes and permeates community development, with the main emphasis on the community of the Motilones neighborhood of the city of San José de Cúcuta, where the social movement currently exerts influence Frontera Morada, which executes processes emphasized in popular communication, promoting the participation of the population, in order to consolidate these processes in good terms, having a significant impact. The methodology used is the qualitative approach, under the hermeneutic historical paradigm and a case study design, using information gathering techniques such as documentary review and semi-structured interview; In addition, the study was approached from the theory of communicative action proposed by Habermas (1987), and from the contributions of other authors such as Jesús Martín Barbero & María Cristina Mata, who contribute to give true support to the research. Among the main findings, it is mentioned that through the different processes of popular communication, the restructuring of the population is sought, and the vindication of their rights, this, allowing the population to express themselves freely and democratically, making reality visible that different communities face, in specific relation to the community of the Motilones neighborhood, the collective border morada, develops these processes, training and motivating especially young people, to encourage in them a critical stance in the face of the different injustices that arise, and of which they are victims, in this way the processes are promoted through art, culture, science, journalism, music and dance, in this sense it can be inferred that the processes emphasized in popular communication are real and it is consolidated in a positive way, provided that there is an active participation of social subjects, in their development.
