Resumen
La presente investigación educativa responde a la necesidad de estudiar el fenómeno educativo enfocado en la multiculturalidad en la ciudad de Barranquilla. A partir de tres categorías de análisis se inicia el marco referencial; educación, currículo y multiculturalidad. Desde un ejercicio hermenéutico se busca analizar currículos y manuales de convivencia para comprender las dinámicas socioculturales propias en los contextos educativos de diez (10) instituciones en Barranquilla. La investigación es de tipo cualitativa, basándose en una revisión documental. Con base en los resultados se concluye que hay distancias teóricas y conceptuales del discurso multicultural en las instituciones educativas, necesitándose mayor apropiación para la puesta en práctica del ejercicio etno educativo, permitiendo que los procesos educativos sean coherentes con el contexto local, la realidad social y cultura global.
This educational research responds to the need to study the educational phenomenon focused on multiculturalism in the city of Barranquilla. The referential framework begins with three categories of analysis; curriculum, education and multiculturalism. From a hermeneutical exercise, it seeks to analyze coexistence curricula and manuals to understand the socio-cultural dynamics of the educational contexts of ten educational institutions in the city of Barranquilla. The research is qualitative, based on a documentary review. Based on the results, it is concluded that there are conceptual and theoretical distances of the multicultural discourse in educational institutions and a greater appropriation and implementation of the ethno-educational exercise is needed so that the educational dynamics are coherent with the local context and social reality - global cultural.
