Resumen
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo develar prácticas culturales machistas legitimadoras de la violencia contra los hombres en el barrio paraíso de la ciudad de Barranquilla, con el fin de conocer estereotipos, creencias e influencia religiosa que perpetúan la permanencia del machismo en la vida de los hombres, así mismo se aplicó a una muestra de 12 participantes, una entrevista a profundidad con 30 preguntas con enfoque cualitativo, cuyos resultados arrojaron que el hombre desde niño es condicionado a una crianza machista la cual le trae consecuencias en sus relaciones interpersonales y su autorrealización como persona. El enfoque investigativo fue tipo cualitativo bajo el diseño fenomenológico hermenéutico, basado en la teoría de las representaciones sociales. Se aplicó la técnica de la entrevista a profundidad con 30 preguntas a 12 hombres entre 19 y 35 años en el barrio paraíso, estos fueron seleccionados debido a la cercanía que se tenía con la población, bajo consentimiento informado y fue utilizada porque permite la identificación de fenómenos nuevos que surgen al momento de estar llevando a cabo la investigación proporcionando una comprensión más profunda.
The objective of this research was to reveal machista cultural practices that legitimize violence against men in the paradise neighborhood of the city of Barranquilla, in order to discover stereotypes, beliefs and religious influence that perpetuate the permanence of machismo in the lives of men. likewise, an in-depth interview with 30 questions with a qualitative approach was applied to a sample of 12 participants, the results of which showed that men from childhood are conditioned to a macho upbringing which brings consequences to their interpersonal relationships and their self-realization as a person. The investigative approach was qualitative type under the hermeneutic phenomenological design, based on the theory of social representations. The technique of the in-depth interview with 30 questions was applied to 12 men between 19 and 35 years old in the paradise neighborhood, these were selected due to the closeness they had with the population, under informed consent and it was used because it allows the identification of new phenomena that arise at the time of carrying out the research providing a deeper understanding.
