Objective: To determine compliance of recommendations for physical activity and mental health, according to the work modality of adults during the SARS COVID-19 pandemic. Materials and Methods: A quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach was carried out on 550 citizens, over 18 years old, residing in the Colombian Caribbean coast. To do so, different variables were measured at a given moment in the life of the study subjects. The international short version physical activity questionnaire IPAQ was applied, to know the levels of physical activity. Sedentary behavior was evaluated by self-report of time in front of screens and working. To measure mental health, we used The Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS 21). Results: The study showed that the 47.1% of workers in alternation modality, present a low level of fiscal activity, compared to people who work in telework and face-to-face modality with 35,7% and 40.5%, respectively; Likewise, the people who are working in these two modalities did not present, in their majority, symptoms of depression, represented in 52% (p = 0.002) and 70.6% (p = 0.048).eng
