Resumen
La presente revisión sistemática buscó describir la memoria de trabajo en pacientes policonsumidores, debido a que esta función ejecutiva ayuda en el desenvolvimiento en nuestro quehacer en la vida diaria, de acuerdo con Diamond, Kirkham, Amso, (2002) retomados por Ardila y Ostrosky (2012) es: “la capacidad para mantener información mentalmente mientras trabajamos con
ella o la actualizamos, esta habilidad permite que recordemos nuestros planes así como instrucciones, considerar alternativas y relacionar ideas y datos, incluyendo relacionar el presente con el pasado y el futuro”. (p 143). Lo cual resulta relevante describir en el policonsumo donde se resalta que dicha función se encuentra alterada, éste es un fenómeno donde la morbilidad de casos va en aumento, siendo en Colombia de acuerdo al estudio nacional de sustancias psicoactivas la segunda enfermedad con mayor prevalencia en la población. Objetivos: La presente revisión sistemática tuvo como propósito describir las características de la Memoria de Trabajo en adultos policonsumidores iguales o mayores de 18 años.
The present systematic review sought to describe the working memory in polydrug patients, because this executive function helps in the development of our tasks in daily life, according to Diamond, Kirkham, Amso, (2002) taken up by Ardila and Ostrosky (2012) is: "the ability to keep information in mind while we work with it or update it, this ability allows us to record our plans as well as instructions, consider alternatives and relate ideas and data, including relating the present with the past and the future ”. (p. 143). Which is relevant to describe in polydrug use where it is highlighted that said function is altered, this is a phenomenon where the morbidity of cases is increasing, being in Colombia according to the national study of psychoactive substances the second disease with the highest prevalence in the population. Objectives: The purpose of this systematic review was to describe the characteristics of the Working Memory in polydrug adults equal to or older than 18 years.
