Resumen
En la familia se origina el desarrollo y formación de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, por lo tanto, deben desempeñar funciones que aseguren su vida íntegra, a su vez, la protección de los derechos de los niños en Colombia es fundamental, por ello el Estado y la familia como núcleo fundamental para la protección de los derechos de los niños deben protegerlos, ya que son considerados como sujetos de especial protección y deben cumplir funciones que promuevan y garanticen sus derechos. Frente a este proceso el resultado más relevante se logra deducir que lograr una protección integral de los derechos de los niños ha sido una tarea que aún está por lograrse en toda
su extensión.
The development and formation of children and adolescents originates in the family, therefore, they must perform functions that ensure their integral life.
