Resumen
Antecedentes: La historia del conocimiento social del VIH/SIDA puede
entenderse como una relación dialéctica entre el conocimiento científico de la
enfermedad y el conocimiento convencional, de ahí que el objetivo principal del
estudio se identifique como explorar el impacto emocional en los adolescentes de
ser diagnosticado con VIH.
El impacto emocional negativo del diagnóstico, incluido el estrés que provoca,
aumenta el malestar psicológico y la vulnerabilidad de los sujetos diagnosticados
con malestar emocional propio y anímico.
Objetivos: Explorar el impacto emocional en adolescentes sobre el diagnostico de
VIH.
Materiales y Métodos: Artículo de revisión teórica. Se utilizaron un total de 33
artículos en curso con una duración no mayor 2 años, por lo que se decidió utilizar
investigaciones que sirvieran de apoyo o fuente de información para el desarrollo
del proyecto.
Resultados: se reportaron cambios emocionales secundarios al diagnóstico por
VIH. Principalmente estigma, depresión y ansiedad.
