| dc.description.abstract | Antecedentes: Las personas con depresión suelen tener una percepción deficiente de su calidad de vida, y esta, modifica las maneras en que afronta las situaciones problémicas, lo que a veces conlleva a una falta de interés por el trabajo y consecuentemente a una disminución de la productividad laboral. En el presente trabajo se busca encontrar el nexo que existe entre las estrategias de afrontamiento, entendidas como las capacidades cognitivas y conductuales del individuo para gestionar demandas internas y externas, con el desempeño laboral del paciente depresivo. Objetivos: Evaluar la correlación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento con el desempeño laboral en el paciente con depresión leve a moderada en una institución prestadora de salud (IPS) de salud mental en Valledupar (Cesar) durante el año 2021. Materiales y Métodos: Se presenta un estudio prospectivo, transversal, con un carácter de medida cuantitativa con una profundidad exploratoria. La población objetivo serán pacientes diagnosticados con depresión leve o medrada activos laboralmente durante el 2021. Se evaluaron 34 pacientes que cumplieron los criterios de inclusión y exclusión y que aceptaron participar en el estudio. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | Background: People with depression tend to have a poor perception of their quality of life, and this modifies the ways in which they deal with problematic situations, which sometimes leads to a lack of interest in work and consequently to a decrease in work productivity. The present work seeks to find the link that exists between coping strategies, understood as the cognitive and behavioral capacities of the individual to manage internal and external demands, with the work performance of the depressed patient. Objective: To evaluate the correlation between coping strategies with work performance in patients with mild to moderate depression in a mental health institution (IPS) in Valledupar (Cesar) during the year 2021. Materials and Methods: A prospective, cross-sectional study is presented, with a quantitative measure character with an exploratory depth.
