Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación busca conocer las afectaciones psicosociales que enfrentan los
jóvenes en situación de calle en la ciudad de Cúcuta, específicamente en el parque lineal. La vida
en la calle, para muchos jóvenes, es el resultado de una combinación de factores como la pobreza,
la violencia intrafamiliar, el abuso físico, el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas y la falta de acceso
a servicios básicos. Estos jóvenes, que experimentan exclusión social y vulnerabilidad, deben lidiar
con barreras adicionales en una ciudad fronteriza caracterizada por altos índices de migración,
empleo informal y situaciones de inseguridad.
La investigación, enmarcada en el programa de Trabajo Social, adopta un enfoque cualitativo para
diagnosticar la situación y proponer estrategias de intervención dirigidas a mejorar la calidad de
vida de esta población. Con datos empíricos y análisis en profundidad, este estudio busca
contribuir a la creación de políticas públicas y programas de intervención en relación a las
afectaciones psicosociales de los jóvenes en situación de calle, aportando así al desarrollo teórico
y práctico en el campo del trabajo social. Además, se espera que esta investigación estimule la
colaboración de diferentes actores sociales en la construcción de una sociedad más inclusiva y
equitativa.
This research project seeks to understand the psychosocial effects faced by street youth in the city of Cúcuta, specifically in the linear park. Life on the street, for many young people, is the result of a combination of factors such as poverty, domestic violence, physical abuse, psychoactive substance use and lack of access to basic services. These young people, who experience social exclusion and vulnerability, must contend with additional barriers in a border city characterized by high rates of migration, informal employment and insecurity. The research, framed within the Social Work program, adopts a qualitative approach to diagnose the situation and propose intervention strategies aimed at improving the quality of life of this population. With empirical data and in-depth analysis, this study seeks to contribute to the creation of public policies and intervention programs in relation to the psychosocial affectations of street youths, thus contributing to the theoretical and practical development in the field of social work. In addition, it is hoped that this research will stimulate the collaboration of different social actors in the construction of a more inclusive and equitable society.
