Resumen
El presente estudio analizó la influencia de la comunicación organizacional en el
desempeño del área administrativa en las empresas que prestan servicios de
seguridad integral en Barranquilla. La comunicación en las organizaciones es un
proceso que ha estado en constante cambio desde sus inicios, así mismo la
importancia que se le ha dado a este proceso dentro de las mismas ha aumentado
de forma considerable; teniendo presente la relevancia que tiene en los diferentes
procedimientos de las compañías, influyendo de esta manera en la eficaz
transmisión de información o datos entre los colaboradores, este proceso impacta
de forma directa el desempeño de cada colaborador, teniendo en cuenta que para
el logro de metas es necesario el intercambio de ideas o mensajes entre los mismos
o de un área a otra.
Para llevar a cabo del análisis se seleccionó la metodología de investigación de tipo
cuantitativo. Implementando el método deductivo y haciendo uso de una encuesta
como instrumento de medición para evaluar las variables de comunicación
organizacional y desempeño. Los resultados que se obtuvieron demuestran que
existe una relación significativa entre la comunicación organización y el desempeño
en los colaboradores, identificando que los medios de transmisión de información
deben ser eficaces y oportunos para obtener un buen desempeño. y por ultimo las
estrategias propuestas, son incentivar la apertura a nuevas opiniones y razones,
que puedan brindar los colaboradores, sin importar su nivel jerárquico, promover la
importancia tanto del buen trato como de la comunicación respetuosa y asertiva, por
medio de charlas o capacitaciones por expertos en el tema. En conclusión se
demuestra que existe una influencia directa y positiva de la comunicación en el
desempeño de los colaboradores del área administrativa, resaltando que se genera
una comunicación o un proceso comunicativo idóneo de manera general, en el cual
se visualizan adecuados canales comunicación que permiten que se den
respuestas a tiempo ante una solicitud generada, que se les haga participes y se
les informe en la toma de decisiones y la cooperación entre las áreas, lo que
favorece a una producción esperada como parte del desempeño

Considering its relevance in different company procedures, it directly impacts the effective transmission of information or data among employees, thereby directly affecting the performance of each collaborator. Recognizing that the exchange of ideas or messages between employees or from one area to another is necessary for goal achievement. To conduct the analysis, a quantitative research methodology was chosen. Implementing the deductive method and using a survey as a measurement instrument to evaluate the variables of organizational communication and performance. The results obtained demonstrate a significant relationship between organizational communication and employee performance, identifying that information transmission methods must be effective and timely to achieve good performance. Finally, the proposed strategies aim to encourage openness to new opinions and reasons from employees, regardless of their hierarchical level. They also aim to promote the importance of both good treatment and respectful, assertive communication through talks or training sessions conducted by experts in the field. In conclusion, it is demonstrated that there is a direct and positive influence of communication on the performance of administrative area employees, highlighting the creation of suitable communication processes in general. These processes display adequate communication channels that enable timely responses to requests, involve employees in decision-making, encourage cooperation between departments, thus favoring expected production as part of performance
