Background: Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis It is also called focal and segmental hyalinosis, it refers to a histological pattern, but indicates a clinical pathological syndrome, this being a characteristic possibly of six different underlying etiologies that, as has been mentioned, the characteristic that is going to be observed is the scarring of the glomerulus progressively, in such a way that these etiologies share a common theme of injury and depletion of podocytes, which is concluded is not a single disease, but a morphological pattern of injury that develops from a wide range of etiologies. Objective: To describe the Clinical-Pathological characteristics of the Focal and Segmental Glomerulosclerosis Pattern by Renal Biopsy in a Reference Clinic in the Colombian Caribbean Region between 2010 and 2020.eng
