In the current university context, University Social Responsibility (USR) has gained relevance, focusing on ethically and effectively managing the social impact generated by the university through its academic, research, and extension activities, and its role in national development. The Universidad del Atlántico, with campuses in Barranquilla, Sabanalarga, and Suan, has a significant opportunity to influence society and contribute to local and national progress. In this framework, USR acts as an essential component for the university to connect with its social environment and invite external actors to become integrated into its internal processes. Thus, management, training, and research are directed toward solving specific social problems. The research focuses on how to improve the application of USR in the regional campuses of the Universidad del Atlántico, considering the complex interaction between higher education and social dynamics, which varies according to the cultural, economic, and political context of each region. Objective: To evaluate the impact of university social responsibility practices on stakeholders, including students and non-teaching staff at the regional campuses of the Universidad del Atlántico, in order to optimize their effectiveness and promote the development of local communities. Methodology: Mixed methods were used, both quantitative and qualitative, through questionnaires directed to students and non-teaching staff at the regional campuses. The data were statistically analyzed to measure perception, in addition to performing a SWOT diagnosis that would allow for the identification of various variables and the proposal of improvement strategies.
