Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo develar los factores psicosociales presentes en el interés vocacional de los estudiantes de undécimo grado del colegio Santiago Apóstol mediante entrevistas, contribuyendo a la elección de carrera profesional. Enmarca dentro de un paradigma introspección vivencia y un alcance descriptivo, en relación al paradigma se trabaja con un enfoque cualitativo con una población de 11 estudiantes de undécimo grado , mediante criterios por conveniencia, se evidencio un estudio de caso en el cual se recolecto la información mediante unas entrevistas semi estructuradas hechas a estudiantes de undécimo grado , como resultados Al analizar las entrevistas realizadas a los estudiantes de Grado 11 del colegio Santiago Apóstol.
De las entrevistas también se desprende que los estudiantes de la zona rural se ven más afectados que los de la zona urbana por la falta de recursos económicos, lo cual les plantea mayores retos para continuar su formación en instituciones de educación superior, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que deben trasladarse a otras ciudades, con los gastos de alojamiento y alimentación que esto implica, al tiempo que la presión para vincularse al mundo laboral es también mayor , se observó por parte de los investigadores que el factor que más prevalece es el económico ya que se puede asegurar que no poseen una estabilidad económica y esto puede afectar su interés vocacional , Aunque la situación evidenciada en las entrevistas es una realidad no solo en esta institución educativa, sino en nuestro país, esto no es ningún impedimento para que estos jóvenes sueñen y aspiren a superarse y lograr formar un proyecto de vida mejor que el que tuvieron sus padres. Aunque su trayecto aun es largo y solo empieza, es claro que la motivación personal y el apoyo de la familia juegan un papel importante en la continuación de los estudios en instituciones de educación superior, motivación y apoyo que resultan fundamentales a la hora de enfrentar este nuevo y significativo reto de sus vidas.
The present research aims to unveil the psychosocial factors present in the vocational interest of eleventh grade students at the Santiago Apostol school through interviews, contributing to the choice of professional career. It is framed within an experience introspection paradigm and a descriptive scope, in relation to the paradigm we work with a qualitative approach with a population of 11 eleventh grade students, using criteria for convenience, a case study was evidenced in which the information was collected by means of semi-structured interviews made to eleventh grade students, as results When analyzing the interviews carried out with the students of Grade 11 of the Santiago Apóstol school. The interviews also show that students in rural areas are more affected than those in urban areas due to the lack of economic resources, which poses greater challenges for them to continue their training in higher education institutions, especially considering Note that they must move to other cities, with the accommodation and food costs that this implies, while the pressure to join the world of work is also greater, it was observed by the researchers that the most prevalent factor is the economic one. It can be ensured that they do not have economic stability and this may affect their vocational interest, Although the situation evidenced in the interviews is a reality not only in this educational institution, but in our country, this is not an impediment for these young people to dream And aspire to improve yourself and achieve a better life project than the one your parents had. Although his journey is still long and is only beginning, it is clear that personal motivation and family support play an important role in continuing studies in higher education institutions, motivation and support that are essential when facing this new and significant challenge of their lives.
