This master's level applied research project comprehensively details the development and practical implementation of an innovative techno-pedagogical solution aimed at mitigating alarming academic dropout rates in virtual environments through the deployment of an intelligent conversational assistant. The general objective of the research is to rigorously design a WhatsApp Chatbot as a highly strategic alternative in academic management to strengthen the continuous participation of apprentices belonging to the complementary course "Induction to Pedagogical Processes" at the Agroecological and Agroindustrial Development Center of the SENA Atlantic Regional. The main instruments utilized to successfully collect the empirical information encompassed an exhaustive documentary review of the interaction metrics housed in the institutional learning management system, validated structured surveys directed at a broad representative sample of students and instructors, and in-depth interviews held with software experts in conversational architecture. The main findings clearly revealed the existence of critical patterns of asynchronous inactivity and severe time constraints among adult learners, structural barriers that were successfully overcome by leveraging the exceptional receptivity towards the daily use of WhatsApp, which facilitated the seamless structuring of predictive automatic reminder and tutoring modules with extraordinary perceived usability. The main conclusion of the project categorically determines that the systemic integration of well-structured conversational tools can restore institutional communicative balance, positively impacting teacher administrative workload and mitigating student dropout by ensuring inclusive support.
