Resumen
El dominio de una segunda lengua, es esencial en el actual mundo de la globalización, en ello, es fundamental el rol formativo que desarrolla la institución educativa, al respecto, se plantea como objetivo general: Generar constructos teóricos para el abordaje pedagógico del inglés como lengua extranjera en la institución educativa Colegio San José de Cúcuta, ubicada en Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, para ello, se adelantó un estudio amparado en el paradigma interpretativo, con un enfoque cualitativo, y con un método hermenéutico, se seleccionaron como informantes clave a tres docentes del área de inglés de la referida institución y estudiantes del mismo grado, a quienes se les aplicó la entrevista en profundidad, la información que de allí surgió fue analizada mediante la teoría fundamentada, desde el empleo de la categorización y la codificación

In this regard, it is proposed as a general objective: Generate theoretical constructs for the pedagogical approach of English as a foreign language at San José de Cúcuta school, located in Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, for this purpose, a study based on the interpretative paradigm was advanced, with a qualitative approach, and with a hermeneutical method, three teachers from the English area of the institution and students of the same grade were selected as key informants., to whom the in-depth interview was applied, the information that emerged from it was analyzed through grounded theory, from the use of categorization and coding.
